5/5 PORTABLE FRICTION MOUNT (SKU 3109)
Really very well made product. I`ve just changed cars and was unable to fit Sat. Nav. in a conveinient place due to larger dash and front screen being further away from driving position etc., so I thought I`d give this a go. To my amazement it really does work a treat as in the You Tube video. No skating across the dash, Sat.Nav. is stable when braking, cornering etc. ( The weight of the bean bag and the docking plate probably help in this respect too ). I can understand potential customers thinking can I really believe the blurb about the product but it does exactly as described, and as for conveinience on removing the product and Sat.Nav. from car to car or just removing from the vehicle without leaving tell tale sucker marks on the windscreen, it`s a no brainer. I am a first time customer, and I am well satisfied with both the product and its` delivery.

Didn't think it would stay in place but it is spot on. Even on braking and corners, it doesn't move. Highly recommended

It is a little big, but having it follow the shape of my dash is an improvement on most of the others available. As mentioned by others it doesnt move at all.

What is a Beanbag mount?
  • Our universal bean bag mount is made from high quality water resistant neoprene material.
  • The base of the beanbag comprised of anti-skid material which can withstand in car dashboard temperature of 180 degree Fahrenheit.
  • The beanbag as a whole measures 8inch x 8inches (20cm x 20cm) with a super smooth mounting plate in the centre which measures 4inches x 4inches (10cm x 10cm).
  • This mirror like mounting area is used to adhere any suction cup bracket / holder / arm which is less than 3.25 inches (9cm) in diameter
How does it work?
  • For optimum stability, place this beanbag mount on a generally flat area of your dashboard with one of the four corners of the square pointing towards the windscreen ( in a diamond pattern). This will provide maximum stability during sudden or abrupt accelerating and breaking actions.
  • The construction of this pad allows it to mould it's self to the ridges & contours of your dashboard enabling you to position it in the ideal place for perfect viewing.
