This product completely solves the battery charging and heated clothing problems that are associated with the CANbus system. The quick installation harness plugs directly onto the back of the stock socket and will not harm or interfere with the vehicles CANbus system. Once the heavy duty harness is installed you can use a standard battery charger and/or power any brand of heated clothing. This Powerlet iCAN Harness was designed for 2005 and newer BMW motorcycles with the factory 5 amp, switched-ignition CANbus system.
